Made with recycled cardboard, matches, cream paper and another, thicker, black. The visuals were cut from magazines.
A small series made with ink pads on cream paper, glued on packaging cardboard (as coockies, cereals, etc.). The frame is also made of cardboard painted with nail polish before being glued. I end up with a black marker on the edge of the painting.
A try in "abstract" on a rectangle of agglomerated wood, with acrylic paint and adhesive tapes to decorate the nails.
I do not like the rendering of this painting but I like the technique itself, I just have to find more beautiful patterns to do with all the adhesive tapes I have.
Example of a table that can be made from special "Christmas" magazines from nearby toy shops, carefully harvested the previous winter.
I put large transparent tape on the visual before cutting it from the magazine and then glue it on a rectangle of cardboard. The frame is made as for the golden series, but painted this time with acrylic paint then varnish before being glued over the visual. I then painted the entire edge (slice of the painting) with nail polish (to hide the layers).
Made of simple stickers (treasures of my childhood , here "the Lion King") glued on packaging cardboard. Borders made with nail polish.
I followed the original frame of the sticker to do mine, that's why that's not straight but I think it will be relooked very soon
